Nice way to finish off. King fans are just so annoying. Their arrogance stems out of literally nothing. "Oh my god my team has made the playoffs two years in a row after missing six times."
Interesting fact of the day. In 43 seasons, the kings playoff series record is 11-23. The ducks in 17 years have gone 11-7. I don't want to imply anything, but that is kind of embarrassing. You guys are a fantastic team (obviously). |

I actually like you, I don't really have an issue, I was happy to see the Ducks get a blogger.
However.
If the Ducks had managed to split the season series with LA the teams would have only been separated by one point. The Kings record would have been 32-27-12 for 76 points and the Ducks could have been 32-29-11 for 75 points
Come on, woulda coulda shoulda, that's the dumbest thing. "Oh if we did ____ we would have _____!"... No, you could, you didn't. "Oh if the Kings had only won a few more games last season in the playoffs, they would have had a cup!"
I hate that argument, I think it's the stupidest thing someone can say.
I'd also like to point out that Barry was getting the same 'wrath' that you get when he was posting and there was no Ducks blogger. It's just life on the internet.

Let's get something straight, my intention was not to insult Kings fans. I was more or less just pointing out that the margin for error in this league is very small and the Kings are not all that much better than the Ducks.
But thank you for reading!

I don't mind the interaction with the Kings fans or Canucks fans for that matter. I just wanted to make it clear that the Kings are not a far superior club to the Ducks as many LA fans believe. IMO |

Unfortunately, it didn't work out that way, but I thought it was worth pointing out anyway. I really don't care what Kings fans think, but I do love knowing that their team is nowhere near as good as they think they are. The Kings are marginally better than the Ducks AT BEST. It's as simple as that.
It is going to feel so good when LA misses the playoffs. I can't wait to watch the mediocre Kings play golf with the mediocre Ducks during the spring.
Well said...The Queenies will be Golfin soon too! |

Ya , we only beat you 5 out of 6 games this year. It's like the two teams are IDENTICAL! Except, we dominated you, so, there's that... |

I don't even care that the Kings are 'the better team' this year. These things ebb and flow, and I don't give much chance for any team finishing below 6th in the west this season. Really, I think the only safe spot to finish would be 6th, cuz the Pacific division lacks a real elite team this year and every team above that is playing real good hockey.
Also, I enjoy the Dustin Penner pancake jokes as much as the next guy, but two things always come to mind.
1) He has issues with his back, not with eating. Its basically making fun of the guy for having a recurring injury
2) If Teemu retires I may want to see Penner come back to Anaheim to play with Getz and Pears, provided the price and term are right.
We could then move Bobby down the the 2nd line, resign Koivu or a comparable veteran center, and play Palmieri on the RW of that line. Keep our third line of Cogs, Bonino, DSP in tact and give Holland and Etem some more development time in the AHL. Last thing I want is to see 6 or 8 rookies/2nd year players in our forward corps next season. Just my 2c. |

the kings fans are just trolls and thats all they do because they know their team isnt really going to go anywhere. they are heading for a first round exit if they get that far. and im pumped for ducks hockey next year, we had a great second half of the year and we have so much to look forward to next year. cap space for one, emerson etem, and most of all- a full season of classic hiller (knock on wood). he has been lights out in the second half, just an incredible netminder who keeps us in games. next year should be great for ducks fans |

funny how in this blog, the only one talking crap are ducks fans.
No better way to prove your team sucks now than to bring up past success as if that has any bearing on today.
Stay classy Anaheim! |

I don't see why you need anything better when it comes to showing how the ducks have had much more success in their 17 seasons rather than the kings 43. It is quite obvious if you look at the stats. |

hornqvist is so underrated. easily my favorite pred, he just seems like a guy who brings it every night. sadly he always burns us (knock on wood) |

What's gotten into Sheldon Brookbank this year?

hes really earned his place this year, used to watch him play in cincinnati. never would have thought he'd still be playing for the ducks! |
